Requirements for Norway and Denmark

EU Candidates:

– Valid driving license
– 3 years up-to-date experience as

  • Mechanics and technicians for:
    • Cars
    • Motorcycles
    • Trucks and buses
    • Agricultural and industrial machinery
    • Railway mechanics (train, tram)
  • Panel beaters and Smart Repair
  • Car Painters

Norway Non-EU Candidates:

– Valid driving license
– 3 years up-to-date experience as

  • Mechanics and technicians for:
    • Cars
    • Motorcycles
    • Trucks and buses
    • Agricultural and industrial machinery
    • Railway mechanics (train, tram)
  • Panel beaters and Smart Repair
  • Car Painters

– Relevant education – minimum 3 years full-time programme

Visa qualifications

* To qualify for a visa, you need to have a diploma from a vocational high school or higher education as car mechanic, auto electrician, car painter, panel beater etc. If you do not meet these criteria, we are unfortunately not able to help you.


In some cases, if you have sufficient experience – but not the right diploma – you may have an option to complete a re-qualification exam to get the diploma that corresponds with your work experience. Please apply now and attach your CV and we will be able to advise you on possibilities.

Denmark Non-EU Candidates:

  • MECHANICHS AND TECHNICIANS: Min 2-year long education – related to Automotive Profession, i.e., Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Vehicle Mechanic etc.*

    • Trucks and buses
    • Agricultural and industrial machinery
    • Railway mechanics (train, tram)

or

  • PANEL BEATERS AND PAINTERS –  Any type of formal education i.e. courses, trainings etc.
